I think I was born with strong confidence and with the knowledge of self-worth. It was not acquired, it was a gift. I never had any need to prove that I have the right to exist. Neither special deeds, nor particular behavior were necessary to prove that. But throughout my life, I have been observing how the outside world was trying if not to destroy, then at least to substantially shatter this confidence.
